Reel Recall Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 1, 2026.

Reel Recall is provided by Lineage Arcades. This policy explains how information is handled in the local-only version of the game and when you visit our support website or contact us.

Information stored on your device

The game stores your player name, selected avatar, gameplay history and results, points, levels, topic and game-mode progress, daily challenge history, achievements, collected Ticket Stubs, and preferences in the app’s local storage. If you choose a city, region, or country in the optional location setting, that selection is also stored locally. It is self-declared; the game does not read your device’s location.

These game records are used to operate the game, save your preferences, and show your progress. In this release, they are not uploaded to our servers, shared with other players, or used to create an online account. Online authentication, account linking, leaderboards, and cloud progression synchronization are disabled.

Advertising, tracking, and permissions

This release does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, or a third-party analytics SDK. We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. The game does not request access to your contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, or photo library. Avatar choices are built-in illustrations; photo uploads are not available.

Support and diagnostics

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to provide, such as a description of an issue, screenshots, or a crash report. We use this information to respond, troubleshoot problems, and maintain records of your request. Please avoid including information that is not needed to resolve the issue.

A test-build device-layout panel may display technical information on your device, such as engine version, screen dimensions, and safe-area measurements. The game does not upload those measurements to us. We receive them only if you send them to us or they are included in diagnostics you choose to share.

Apple or your device platform may independently process app usage and crash diagnostics under its own policies and settings. We may receive platform-provided reports where the platform makes them available. Those reports are used to investigate reliability issues.

Our website and service providers

Our public policy and support website does not contain advertising, analytics scripts, contact forms, or tracking cookies. The website hosting provider may process ordinary connection information, including IP address, request time, browser information, and requested page, to deliver and secure the website. If deployed using the supplied Cloudflare Pages option, Cloudflare provides hosting under its privacy policy.

Our email service provider processes messages you send to our support address. Providers process information to deliver their services. Information may be processed outside your country, subject to applicable safeguards. We may disclose information if necessary to comply with law or protect legal rights.

Retention and your choices

Local game data remains on your device until removed. Deleting the app through iOS Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Reel Recall → Delete App removes its local app data; Offload App retains data. Device or cloud backups managed by your platform may retain copies under that platform’s settings. On Android, you can clear the app’s storage through device app settings; menus and backup behavior vary by device. You can change your player name and avatar in Edit Profile and change or clear an optional location selection in My Reel. Deleting local data removes progress and may not be reversible.

Support correspondence is retained for 12 months after the request is closed, unless a longer period is needed for a legal obligation or an unresolved dispute. We will handle applicable access, correction, and deletion requests concerning information we hold. Contact us using the address below. We cannot remotely access or delete records stored only on your device.

Children

Reel Recall is intended as a general-audience movie trivia game, not a service directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it. The App Store’s content rating describes game content and does not itself authorize collection of children’s information.

Changes and contact

If our practices change, we will update this policy and its effective date. New online, advertising, analytics, or account features will require updated disclosures before they are introduced.
